Description
β-NADP + is a coenzyme, which is formed by niacinamide adenine dinucleotide and phosphate molecule through an ester bond. It exists widely in the biological world and can be used for reduction reaction. It’s also a major component in various diagnositics kit, especially enzyme activity assays.
β-NADP + is a coenzyme of dehydrogenase, and acts as a hydrogen acceptor in the reaction process. It accepts hydrogen through chemical osmotic coupling in the electron transport chain and reduces itself to β-NADPH.
