AMPPD chemiluminescence substrate
AMPPD is a chemiluminescent substrate for alkaline phosphatase based reaction. With the catalytic hydrolysis of the enzyme, AMPPD is decomposed into AMP-D, which emits a high-intensity light signal. The time of illumination depends on the concentration of the alkaline phosphatase. When alkaline phosphatase is coupled to the hybridized probe, the amount of the hybrid molecules can be detected.
